Automation systems on the Home Assistant platform
Development and implementation of Smart Home, Office, Farm, and Village projects based on the open-source Home Assistant platform

An autonomous eco-settlement in the desert. The project was developed by Symbiosei at the request of the South Sinai government. As it turns out, smart home technology pairs perfectly with the most environmentally friendly building technology available today—cob (earthen construction).
Modern technologies such as solar panels, air-to-air heat pumps, automatic windows and blinds, combined with the high thermal inertia of cob structures, make it possible to maintain a comfortable microclimate inside the home with zero CO2 emissions
Why we use Home Assistant ourselves and recommend this platform to our partners:
- Home Assistant is an open-source Smart Home platform. By choosing Home Assistant, you are not dependent on a specific developer and have unlimited possibilities to adapt your Smart Home to your needs.
- Available support. Home Assistant is a popular international platform. If needed, you can find qualified support for your project in any country in the world.
- Home Assistant can work in local mode, without internet access. With decreasing stability in the world, this feature of Home Assistant becomes more relevant every year.
- The choice of peripheral devices and sensors compatible with Home Assistant is simply enormous.
- Systems based on Home Assistant support all standard data transmission formats: WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth, civil radio frequencies allowed in your country. If necessary, you can combine/additionally connect various devices in one project.
- Home Assistant allows data processing according to your needs in real-time mode: automatic and semi-automatic sensor calibration, identification of correlations and clearly erroneous data, convenient visualization, integration with geographic information systems.
- The ability to broadcast selected data on the company's website in real-time.
Are you hesitant to trust a serious order to a young company?
We can start by tackling a simpler task - developing an existing prototype.

Prototype of a Smart Living Module for arctic climates with uniquely low thermal inertia. A comfortable microclimate inside the dwelling is maintained by an intelligent heating system based on an air-to-air heat pump and ventilation with heat recovery.
The project was designed and implemented by the Symbiosei team as part of the tourism cluster development program in Svalbard
